October 2015 is a very dynamic month, influenced by a Mars-Jupiter conjunction.

The Mars-Jupiter conjunction brings physical prowess, an appetite for life and action, a will to get involved in projects that demand a lot of energy and daring.

But the Mars-Jupiter tandem can also manifest in a difficult way too, by generating a tendency toward carelessness, exaggeration, excess, and foolish acts and risks, so take note and guard against these other tendencies OK.

October 2015’s astrological configuration also includes a square formed between Saturn and the Mars-Jupiter conjunction. So a series of initiatives, while starting with a rush now, could encounter obstacles later so during this month you have to show an extra amount of patience, foresight and perseverance.

Finance is appropriate this month, but there are a few bumps in the road. From the 5th to the 7th, the Sun squares Pluto – avoid speculations then. Expenses involving children (or children figures) can be stressful. And between the 11th and 12th, the Sun opposes Uranus, creating a monetary disturbance – something sudden and unexpected. Your career planet, Pluto, went forward on September 25, and on the 23rd you specify a yearly career peak. The timing is beautiful. There is conceptual clarity in the career. You move forward with confidence.

Your career is boosted by being involved in charitable functions during that period. Enhance the career by weeding out inessentials. Keep a laser-like focus. Don’t get distracted by minutiae. It will also serve as good to take courses or seminars related to the career after the 8th. Outside investors seem willing to spend on your career. Your 9th house is haunting this month and filled with mostly beneficent planets. This indicates foreign travel and travel opportunities coming to you. This is a delightful period for students. There is success in their studies and in their educational ambitions.

There is more clarity in these matters now, and it is safer to make the changes in the health regime that need to be done.

On the 23rd of last month, as the Sun entered your 5th house, you began another of your yearly personal pleasure peaks, and this is in effect until the 23rd of this month. The job situation doesn’t seem that happy, so you might as also have some fun. A bit of recreation will allow you to be better focused on work later on.

The planetary power began to shift two months ago and this shift is felt even more strongly now. The power is in the western, social sector. Personal merit, personal attainments are always important, but these days less so. It is the ‘like ability factor’ that is important now, your ability to get on with others, your social skills. It is difficult these days to have life on your terms or to change conditions to suit you. Now you are better off adapting to things as best you can. Clarity is happening in the love life too as Venus begins to move forward. Until the 8th Venus is still in your 10th house (she has spent a lot of time in that house this year). For months, now you have been attracted to the high and mighty – to people of power and prestige. Office romances probably happened over the past few months, and if not, the opportunities were the matter. You had a pragmatic attitude towards love. Love was a career move, or career choice, like any other. Things are changing now. On the 8th Venus moves into your 11th house of friends. You become more attracted to relationships of peers – equals. Romantic opportunities happen online or as you get involved with groups and organizations. Friends play Cupid. Venus will spend most of the month in the sign of Virgo. This is not her favourite sign. She cannot function at her best.
