CANCER

This is a big month for your love life! Starting right off from the 1st January you have a new moon in your relationship area which means the Sun and Moon are both in alignment and forcing you to take stock of what you want in a relationship and what you don’t want and paving the way for something new to come into your life whether this be a change in your current relationship or a new person who enters your life. On top of this Mercury, Venus and Pluto are all lined up in your relationship area specifically on 1st January! Does it get any better than that? You’ll certainly be faced with some new thoughts and possibly some challenges. There is a spanner in the works as Mars and Uranus both square all that is going on in your relationship area and Jupiter is in opposition. All of those 3 planets are pretty big within themselves. Mars planet of assertion, Uranus planet of sudden change and Jupiter planet of luck and sometimes the proverbial foot in mouth syndrome. Do not let any of this hold you back you have more than enough going on for you on the 1st January to make your own mind up on what you want and go for it! Now the focus shifts on people and relationships, ranging from personal to platonic to just professional. You will realize that to help you achieve success your people skills need to be honed. You will need to be sharp-witted and alert in order to identify potential (or even actual) threats to your welfare/progress. It may not happen but it is good to be prepared. In spite of all this, this month brings you caring and sharing, that is, fine companionship, close ties with loved ones and an overall feeling of both togetherness and contentment. The emphasis is on “us” rather than “me”. This may be an especially busy time for people who consult or work with clients one-on-one.

You focus strongly on relationships – some good and some not so good. While there will be tremendous togetherness and warmth with close companions and loved ones, at the same time there can be rivalry bordering on open animosity with an adversary. Special attention to and from a partner is in focus, and flattery will get you everywhere if you use it wisely. At the same time you’re also advised to slow down a bit and don’t get carried away in emotions or excitement.

You may work hard at making yourself feel more safe and sound, and you may be called upon to take charge on the home and family front. You may have to invest time and money in homemaking, house repairs, re-decorating or family activities. There could be new beginnings through buying a home or real estate. For some of you, relationships within the family could be a source of tensions, depressions and chaos.

Try being helpful to others in the family, and avoid eccentricity as much possible.

AQUARIUS

January starts off possibly a bit rocky for you but things become clearer as Mercury moves into your sign after the 12th January. There’s a lot to look forward to and you may find yourself making connections with people who you felt you have known before where the intensity of the relationship is so strong you are not sure what to do. Wait until after the 12th January when everything becomes clearer or even the 21st January when the Sun enters your own sign. Mars is forming a great aspect to your sign this month and should be able to give you the energy you need to propel you forward to reach your goals. The moon in your relationship area on the 17th and 18th will also help bring out into the open something you need to know in order for you to make decisions and last but not least the trine between Jupiter and Saturn all month will give you a lot to think about when it comes to your work life. If you are thinking of changing anything to do with your work… now is the time to start the ball rolling. You will have a sense of awareness of your own limitations this month, leading up to your birthday phase, be they physical, emotional or even financial, as well as a sense of being confined and restricted. There could be some rivalry, hard feelings generated that could trigger off either of these reactions. NOT a time to go overboard, in terms of self-pity, to see troubles where none exist, or attempt to solve the world’s problems. It might be a good idea to maintain a low profile and be less vocal. A time to make special efforts to get along with others – both professionally and personally. Changes initiated now may prove beneficial in the long run, both materially and otherwise.

Personal and social contacts may be mysterious, and there can be secret love affairs, or at least very private love feelings and longings. Shyness can lead to some seclusion or romantic frustration. Attention to subconscious romantic and sexual dreams and desires comes to the forefront. Perhaps it allows you to play out certain fantasies that you are unable to play out consciously; when your whole being is completely aware of the consequences. Try to sustain a balance between inner and outer world.

It’s an extraordinary time for promoting your ideas and viewpoint, although coming on too strong could work against you. If you can’t travel, you’ll feel like doing so, or at least travel in your mind, simply because you have a great urge to expand your horizons in some manner. A move, transfer, or relocation of considerable distance is possible. Attention thrown towards leisure activity, trip or just cooking up great new ideas are well spent and serve to rejuvenate your vitality.

ARIES

2014 starts off with you thinking about what you want and how you will make your mark on the year! Sounds like a new year’s eve wish doesn’t it? Well you have some pretty compelling planetary transits around for you from day one. There is a new moon in an area of your chart that will have you reaching for the stars in how you want to remember this year and how it goes for you. On top of that Pluto and Mercury are conjunct the new moon and where Pluto is change happens… whether you like it or not. Take time to ponder where you want to be this time next year as this is the time to lay down your game plan, take aim and shoot for the stars in what you want to happen next. Mars will also be squaring the new moon and Pluto on 1st January and for this reason you need to be aware of any setbacks around you and take action to get around them with diplomacy. Mars is also in your relationship area this month and this naturally may be causing you to go in with all guns blazing with putting your point across to your partner. All is fair in love and war but remember that you may need your partner close by you and on your side with the other grand plans you have going on. Recognition, rewards, greater power and prestige, even your assets, property, belongings are enhanced greatly. The time is being truly generous, and you deserve it. Your vision is practical right now, and you want to see tangible results for your efforts. More contact with authority figures is likely during this period. Recognition is likely to come your way whether you ask for it or not, and more responsibility that comes right along with it! Do what you feel is right, keeping in mind that you are at your most visible during this month in the year.

Given the current situation, your more obsessive nature comes to the forefront. You could easily go the wrong way and get into conflicts. You need to understand that instead of wasting your time quarrelling, you can accomplish much to the benefit of you, your family and society at large. You could find yourself driven by an impatient desire to do something; but without a well-defined goal, you may tend towards reckless actions and get yourself into trouble.

The month brings social opportunities to your occupation. Satisfaction comes through your career, your vocation and your business. It follows that now, it will be your profession and work, the recognition of your worth, skills and abilities that is the first yardstick of success, but more vital, relevant a measure will be how you feel about it – and that’s what is truly important this whole month. You are coming across well at work now, and romantic opportunities, or simply more chances to mingle and network, are likely.

Attempting to satisfy romantic needs and assertive/sexual needs at the same time could be taxing. Passions run high and you can feel the heat. You could stir up problems in order to fulfil a need for excitement. Be wary of making impulse decisions. Jealousy, greed and lust could all come into focus at the same time. Keep your cool!

You are anxious with taking on an important or aggressive role within an association or relationship. You are on the go in pursuing allies and in the forming of new partnerships. You may even find that you seem to need someone’s help in order to accomplish your objectives. Your close personal relationships are lively – full of conflicts and resolutions or reconciliations. Be aware of what you and your partner want for yourselves and what you want from the relationship. Let one another know what your needs are and work it out together.

CAPRICORN

Welcome to 2014 Capricorn! What a great line up of planets you have to start the year off with! From day one you will be feeling as if you need to really reorganize your life… starting with your love life. The new moon in your sign on the 1st totally reinforces the effects of Venus which is now retrograde in your sign. This will have you digging deep to ask yourself what you want in your love life, looking to the past for answers and possibly a relationship resurfaces for you and you are thrown back into it. As Mars is also squaring the alignment of planets in your sign for the first week of the month you may have to navigate around some tense moments in order to find what you are wishing to accomplish. Do not let that hold you back you have such a lot going on for you that you need to be prepared and alert to what YOU want… with the emphasis on you! It might be a good time to make a thorough scrutiny of the real you, an honest assessment of your face, figure, health and assets and seek to implement a make-over where necessary. The truly intimate and personal you, needs to be examined minutely and where there is room for improvement, positive action be taken. You’ll need to establish good working relationships with colleagues, subordinates and bosses as well. It’s NOT a time to challenge the system! Stress and neglect both need to be guarded against too. A time for introspective self-assessment with a degree of honesty and objectivity. That way lies contentment, success, happiness – any or all of them, and it will come from your own changed attitude.

This is perhaps a low-key time, but one in which you feel grounded and stable. It’s easy to glue to a particular mission/assignment and make headway. Productivity may be slow, but it’s steady. This is a time when you naturally let loose your softer, receptive side. Romantic matters, as well as pleasure-seeking activities, come to the fore now. You are more likely to pay closer attention to your physical appearance and mannerisms, aiming to improve and enhance your attractiveness. You’ll learn that it actually pays off to trust yourself, forgive yourself and be truthful to yourself. Lessons learned now will help you project yourself confidently to the world.

You will feel you’ve seen it through, emerged victorious in your efforts! Luxury and peace envelop you, wish fulfilment and dreams-come-true time is here. Beautiful partnerships at work may energize you further; a marvellous week of balance between work and pleasure. You can’t really have one without the other, but now they are so evenly poised, though it’s your hard work and effort that have made it happen, and so brilliantly.

You are intent on pushing forward in your career and professional status. Conflicts with those in authority are possible now. You may pour more energy into self-promotion or business/career activities. The desires and ambitions along these lines are unusually pressing. You will take a great amount of initiative to further your personal career goals and to make important strides in your overall life direction. You could find that your talents or services are especially in demand now. Don’t, however, let your enterprising nature get interpreted as aggressiveness or insensitivity.

GEMINI

If there was ever a time you wanted to delve deeply into something and get to the bottom of it then this month is the month to do so. Specifically the first half of the month. You may wish to be a bit cautious with your approach and a bit careful with what you plan to do with the information but you’ll find yourself with a head start in uncovering some truths. After the 12th when Mercury moves into a lighter and brighter area of your chart and also trines your sun sign you will not only be enjoying the full benefits this brings but also the benefits of Mars. Mars can be a bit of a troublesome planet when it is transiting but this month it will be trining your sign along with Mercury. All planets will be in Air signs and that is a double whammy for you. You have hit the jackpot. Lots of thoughts going through you mind… lots of energy to act on these thoughts and many opportunities to throw these thoughts around with others. What could be more Gemini than that! Once again, you’ll have to focus your attention on money matters (legacies, trusts, loans or fund-raising) even though there may still be some health problems nagging at you. Pending career or money matters may come to an end; there could be some shock news, which causes you sorrow and joy/relief at the same time. Clearing out psychic “junk” or ridding yourself of bad habits may be part of the picture now. You are more willing than usual to explore life’s secrets. This is an especially introspective month during which you have the chance to truly uncover your personal strengths and talents.

A full of meaning and warm relationship made now could be stimulating and even healing. You draw closer to a loved one/partner/spouse even as circumstances pull you apart. You will also concern yourself with future finances. This will be a good time for money matters pertaining to fund-raising, capital-formation and long-range investments. Debts may happen, if you don’t do your homework in financial matters. There is tendency to be carefree (or careless). You may be distressed with matters related to death/separation – either of a loved one or a relationship.

You become very gregarious and active in your quest for pleasures. These take account – on-the-floor activities, hobbies and other creative outlets, as well as sports, parties and social dealings. You will focus on activities that will keep you in the middle-of-the-road. You’ll tend to express yourself creatively, through activities with children, romantic activities, hobbies or sports. You are more playful than usual, and especially magnetic. Depending on your circumstances, a new romance or even a series of romances is quite possible.
An excellent time to schedule interviews, meetings and one to one discussions. You are clear cut in your ideas and presentations/shows are likely to go well. You speak very clearly, convincingly, and forcefully now, so that there is no mistaking what your views and opinions are. This is also a good time to take a test or to do any kind of intellectual or mental work.

LEO

Try to make sure you are not overexerting all your energy into work this month especially at the beginning of the year. The signs are there that you will want to and you may have a lot of mental energy to work off however, you need to start planning for the remainder of the month which sees the Sun (on 21st January) and Mercury (on 12th January) entering your relationship area. The Sun is the ruler of Leo so you should feel right at home and be more than willing to relax and be adored, as a Leo should. Mercury will help smooth over any difficulties you have been having with a loved one and if you have any conversations you are wishing open up my suggestion is try around the 17th, 18th, 19th January when Mercury forms a great aspect to Mars and the moon is also in your own sign. The 30th January sees a new moon in your relationship area and this is what you need to be aiming for… setting in motion what you want in your love life and putting the pieces altogether so you have everything in place by the end of the month. You may be making changes in your job/profession, in your relationships with colleagues and co-workers, health and diet. There may be some mental strain, or perhaps financial difficulties, particularly relating to held-up payments that are still pending, salaries, servants, health and employee benefits or perhaps a bad debt and/or a check. Willingness to help and serve will pay dividends, both materially and in terms of a “feel-good” factor. Don’t expect gratitude and appreciation – just go ahead and do whatever needs to be done. This phase presents an opportunity to get rid of what doesn’t work in your life, while also discovering what does. You could seek distinction and strive towards perfection in your work. Efficiency should be your goal now.

It is your work that you’ll focus on in this month, but more in terms of what you gain from it. You will be looking at both employment benefits as well as job-satisfaction and of course, striving towards both, and achieving them for the most past. Romantic and social activities may revolve around your working environment. You are generally well liked and respected socially on the job right now. Some laziness is possible now, as you tend to associate pleasure with work! Perhaps you are socializing more than usual on the job. You will also be looking at working for the community and for society at large.

It’s a great time to work on your appearance and your manner. There is far more balance and harmony in your thinking. It certainly makes for greater satisfaction and joy than before. It also gives a much stronger sense of direction. You’ve handled your responsibilities and duties rather well in the past few weeks but now you feel you want some other dimensions in life. Others see your more delightful, compassionate, and attractive side.

You may be especially busy serving responsibilities and communicating with others. You may also tend to have a more pushy, self-centred or provocative communication style. As such, discussions may become intense, or they may turn into arguments. If latter is the case, it’s likely because you are taking things very personally right now, or because you are deliberately imposing your beliefs and ideas. There might be an issue that might raise confrontations or requires compromise with someone. Extra caution is advised in driving or anything related to transportation.

Emotions may burst up into arguments that work against your own best interests. Be prepared, and walk sympathetically. It would be wise if you could avoid taking sides at this time. You could be taking things quite personally now, and something that someone says or does now can easily irritate you up. If this is the case, it would best to work alone rather than try to cooperate or coordinate your efforts with anyone at this time.

LIBRA

You may feel a bit like the “meat between the sandwich” this month as the Sun, Mercury and Venus oppose Jupiter and all form a square to your sign. This means that it may not be all smooth sailing for you as the month begins but give January a bit of time to move along and planets change sign and your life becomes smoother. You have Mars in your sign this month… God of war… and standing for all things which are totally not in a Libran’s nature at all. Mars will perk you up and may have you wanting to rush in and do a lot of things at once just be careful it doesn’t cause you to rush in without thinking so that you do end up on the negative side of a situation that is out of your control… oh… did I mention Mars doesn’t like control too much as it is usually rushing in so hard to break apart that not a lot of thinking is done before action is taken. Nevertheless, this is a month of action for you and towards the end of the month when the Sun and Mercury are both in your area of romance and creativity you may be able to find your balance again and hone it towards more pleasant pursuits House or office may require renovation, refurbishing or expansion. Perhaps even a shift for either the office home factory/workplace. You want working conditions that satisfy you in every way, physically, technically and in the prevailing atmosphere and will take pains to achieve just that. You may also decide to invest in labour-saving devices/ gadgets to streamline your efficiency both at home and in the office. At the same time, there is a desire to retrace your roots and origins, to go back in time. This is a time to do what you can to build trust in your family life and a strong foundation within yourself, so that regardless of what you meet in the outside world over the next months, you have a secure place to return to.

You might be feeling unusually romantic and passionate. This is a good phase for expressing yourself imaginatively through affairs or other pursuits. You might make some public acquaintances that do good to your line of business/profession or life path. Opposite sex could play a prominent role in your life. Stimulating things/desires – romantic feelings, material wants, and pleasing activities occupy your attention.

At home, you are mentally very active, making interesting changes and turning the daily friend of domesticity into fun and pleasure. A second home/retreat/vacation is also possible. But avoid over-spending on holidays and extravagance in general. That’s not the way, even if you’re spending on adding beauty, comfort and luxury to your home and family.

Over-extending yourself will actually detract from the ambience, not add to it. You may particularly value the aesthetics in and around your home during this month. If things are out of whack on the home front, you will do whatever you can to create a peaceful and stable atmosphere.

Your physical appearance may be the target of your efforts and you may set out to improve or change your style/approach. In fact, you may be somewhat aggressive and have a short temper. Avoid being over-ambitious. Take charge of your life, but don’t bully others in the progression! This is an excellent phase for assertiveness and physical liveliness. Love affairs may also be stepped up. On the odd circumstance when an accident occurs, it is more likely to involve the head or face.

You could face difficulties in fulfilling your wishes and satisfying your desires. You may feel frustrated and unappreciated. Your feelings are going against much of what you value, so that too makes way for a possible difficulty. It could also happen that now you’re so busy working for others that you have no time for yourself and in the process you miss out a lot of good things of life.

PISCES

Save the second half of this month file under the heading of “things you want to do” and do them! Because the first half of the month seems to be all about getting ahead and work. The Sun, Mercury and Venus are all conspiring to have you seen in a brilliant light by others at work so it won’t hurt to allow yourself to be seen this way and you never know where this may lead you… possibly a promotion. On the other hand if you are wanting to change jobs this may be the time to do so. The Second half of the month seems more focussed on your friends and friendships, going out, having a good time and generally catching up with those you haven’t seen in a while (and also those you have). The moon in your relationship area around the 20th and 21st really seems to resonate with you as both the Sun and Mercury are then in an area of your chart that scream out to you to get in touch with who you are and change anything you don’t want. Widening the vistas of your very existence is what this month makes you do. You still extend warmth and friendship, as well as cooperation at work. All the trends – which started last month will now gain momentum, focus and direction. You reach out to people in a rare show of warmth, connubial bliss and friendship. This is a rather happy, goal-oriented month. A lively agenda is promised, you’re attracting quite a bit of interest, and your energy for making contact with others is high. This is a time to follow your dreams and ideals, and to plant a seed in the form of a wish for the future.

You will be more friendly, more magnanimous but also more extravagant. In fact, you will join a club, action group or gathering of like-minded people even at work. Those who please you in terms of your ideas as well as ideals will be the ones you interact with. If a romance were to begin this month, it would be characterized by a strong feeling of companionship, but it could also be to a certain extent impersonal and perhaps lacking in intensity and intimacy.

Unpleasant scenarios are possible. One possibility could be ego conflicts concerning jointly held possessions or money. Arguments with partners over values or belongings are possible. Occasionally, this could bring an emergency or ending of some kind. Unexpected news might disturb or touch you deeply. It could be a time of separation, calling it quits, divorce, or the break up of a business partnership. Taxes, loans, insurance, wills, and such may be a source of concern and activity. Be extra careful about spending too much with credit cards.

SAGITTARIUS

Mars is in your area of friends and friendships so a great start to the year with lots of people to keep you company and busy. In fact, in you may find your social life takes off so quickly that you don’t have a lot of time for yourself. The 12th, 13th and 14th finds the moon in your relationship sector so great for your love life. It also is the time that Mercury moves into your area of communication so a very good time to have any conversations you have been putting off as you will be in the mood for talking. On a more serious note, the Sun, Mercury and Venus are in an area of your chart that is screaming out to you to be more stable and secure. To actually make plans, possibly financially, and stick to them. This is also highlighted on the 1st January when the new moon triggers the other planets in this area of your chart off and may have you feeling contemplative on making a New Years resolution that includes… make 2014 a financially stable year. A time when you will truly need to “walk the talk”, stand by your beliefs and convictions. You will have a lot on your plate and most of it will pertain to money – both for immediate needs and future gains. Financial matters become important or at least the main focus, but good moves have to be thought out. Property and possessions, rentals, funds, investments, and even cash transactions. There may be profits or income from property, land and real estate. Don’t try for fast cash or the quick buck. That doesn’t last and can give you a sense of false security. In fact, you might just be barking up the wrong tree in terms of career or personal gains through sheer pride or ego. Back your own judgment, but do so with caution and restraint. You know instinctively what works best for you. Just go ahead sensibly, keeping your own counsel as far as possible.

Watch that you don’t overrate your calibre/capabilities now. The yearning to experience something new, liberty to walk around new possibilities, can lead to restlessness if you don’t know what it is you want. Over-optimism can lead to losses or waste. Larger than life attitude could take hold now, but ‘right and optimum’ should be considered first. There can be a tendency to go overboard and to indulge in extravagances.

There is anxiety about health – your own or that of a loved one, and equal anxiety about money. This is different from self-confidence – it’s about self-awareness this month. It hopefully leads to greater care in handling money matters like taxes, funds and also in handling the people around you. You may find yourself in a position in which there is a blending of financial matters with social or public affairs. You may tend to be carefree(or careless), if not uncaring in your attitude.

The world may be throwing demands upon you. Perhaps you could have assumed more responsibilities recently. It could be hard to find a sense of balance between responsibilities and the desire for self-gratification. Over-inflated expectations and the tendency to exaggerate your affections are things to watch out for. Start by making a priority list of tasks at hand.
You will pour your efforts into an involvement with groups and friends. You may also take on a leadership role within a group. Avoid allowing the ego to challenge or dictate others. You like it better to lead rather than follow and there are ways to do so without stepping on others’ toes. As well, the best way to achieve your goals is to work as a team, or to at least to do some networking. The friends you choose now might prove to your advantage in the long run.

You are way too obsessed with your style, passion and ego. One meaning of this is ‘over-confidence’, and other meaning could be ‘being irrational’. You could make some bad decisions, be too open-handed, or squander your resources. You are inclined to take physical risks, gamble, speculate, and to act on faith and belief in yourself. This can, in fact, be a very productive time for you if you can keep your expectations within reasonable bounds

SCORPIO

You start the year off with a few things on your mind and most like a few more on your lips. Words and thoughts are coming easily to you now and right from the start of the month you may want to clear the decks by letting someone know what you are thinking, feeling and meaning to do about things. The Sun, Mercury and Venus are all in your area of communication added to this on 1st January there is a new moon also in this area and all of this points to you clearing your mind, focussing your thoughts and with any luck leaving something that has been holding you back mentally from the past. Mars may be dragging you back a bit as you strive to get to the bottom of something and come up empty handed and also frustrated but don’t let that hold you back. You are onto something with what you are aiming for and change is just around the corner. The moon in your relationship area on 10th and 11th January is a good time to take note of what you are thinking and act on it. You still need to learn to relate better with others, but now it’s more on the intimate and personal level – the exchange of ideas, innermost thoughts, personal beliefs rather than the emotions. Family ties, linkages of loving and caring now become sharing. Vital correspondence and contacts must not be neglected, or the necessary inputs, data and information for work-related projects, plans or activities. No carelessness of any kind to be made if you want to achieve your goals. You are more curious and alert than usual, and you could be quite busy with errands, paperwork, phone calls, and light socializing. Much energy is expended in understanding and adapting to your immediate environment. Siblings, neighbours, close relatives, friends, and co-workers may play a more important role than usual in your life.

You realize that what matters is the closeness of bonds and ties with those you love. Friends are always important to you, and more so now. You are, therefore, not just willing but eager to maintain friendships and acquaintances. Essentially, you are quite companionable now. You enjoy talking about what interests you, and you find great value in the exchange of ideas. Sometimes this phase brings benefits/pleasure through siblings, communications, or short trips.

A new focus and approach will be seen. You assert your authority, but charm helps you in gaining your objectives. You may even take on, and relish, a dazzling public role. It is essential to retain goodwill to all. That is also important in your relationships. After all it is not as if they have ceased to be important OR valuable. They are still the prime motivating factors though the activities are somewhat changed.

Activities that demand work alone or in deep concentration are likely to go well. It can be a time when past actions grab hold of you – and this is not essentially an awful thing! This is natural – you may just as well do your best work alone for now. Some of you might get carried away and get involved with drugs, alcohol, or in covert activities. There is also a tendency to negate or ignore feelings of aggression, and not wishing to display them, they are repressed.

Your passions are not in tune with the more sensitive and private areas of your life. The bully in you emerges, and you can be terribly stubborn, forceful, or obsessive about doing what you want to. Since you are unable to see your own weaknesses, you tend to be critical of others. It’s advised that you take someone’s help now to discover your own shortcomings and make a way through.

TAURUS

You seem to have an unending source of energy this month where work is concerned. If there is anything you have been putting off and needing to get done then this is the month to do it in as Mars transits your work area and gives you perhaps more than a push and a prod to tackle those things you really need to finish… or in some cases start! It sounds as if you need to grab the fun at the beginning of this month with both hands and go with it before you settle back into more staid and predicable patterns again. Long-distance and foreign connections, exchange and trade will be favoured. You’ll travel a fair amount and may strike up a chance acquaintance who shares your views, ideals and ideas. Also, you may be confronted with a kind of weariness, even disillusionment, that sets in. A month of exaltation, true spirituality, intellectual and moral growth – a truly cosmic gift comes to you. This month reorients you to your lasting values, and greater idealism is the result, in conjunction with heightened consciousness and conscience, that come hand in hand with true and sincere spirituality and faith.

You might be feeling unusually romantic and passionate. This is a good phase for expressing yourself imaginatively through romance or other pursuits. You might make some new acquaintances that do good to your line of business/profession or life path. The opposite sex could play a prominent role in your life this month. Stimulating things/desires – romantic feelings, material wants, and pleasing activities occupy your attention.

If a romance were to begin now, it is more possible to be with someone from a different background or educational level, or someone you meet through travel. A love interest who attracts you this month may be somebody who you previously wouldn’t consider at all, or someone whose cultural background is very different than yours. You have a taste for the unusual and the spirit to match. There could be a special understanding with foreigners and with women if you are travelling this month. You are all the more attractive and charismatic with this position, which increases your popularity.

It’s an excellent time to take care of your health. You might decide to change jobs, and if your work has not been fulfilling in the past, then initiative to make changes should be taken. Such a situation left unchanged could easily result in health problems, just as it could to routinely overwork oneself. Undesirable job pressures may lead to depressions and injuries. Grab 2014 with both hands from the start of the month and run with it! You have spectacular planets in your area of playfulness and romance that should see you seeing in the new year with a smile on your face! On the 5th and 6th January the moon is also in your relationship area giving you and extra reason to plan for some “you” time just now and keep your mind off work. There’ll be plenty of the time later in the month for that as Mercury on the 12th January and the Sun on the 21st January both move into your work area and give you a chance to plan for how you’d like your work life to be heading. Mars is in your area of security all month and it may be a good time to sit down and go over your finances… not such a good time to act on any whims you may have relating to financial matters but a good time to just keep an eye out for something that could come back on you if you do not balance your books properly. This is a very playful period of the year, when you are inspired creatively and emotionally. After a period of self-protectiveness, you are now more spontaneous and more willing to take risks. A rich, fruitful and happy phase comes to you and you’re enjoying it. The spice of life is there for you in the variety of interests, activities, and feelings that you are bound to experience this month. Don’t fly too high or too far — risky moves, rashness, over-confidence that nothing can go wrong or just foolhardy behaviour. Some danger or possible mishap may be lurking. Risk-taking, speculation must be avoided. Also rashness in an affair of the heart which might leave you hurt and scattered, if not shattered.

This is an animated period to love and be loved! You are especially fascinated to visual forms of amusement and activities. Creative self-expression of any kind is favoured at this time. You feel a little more playful now, and love matters tend to be exaggerated with a shade of excitement. That shouldn’t be a problem, as you kind of like it that way for the time being.
